Tangshan Shuguang Dasheng Cement Co., Ltd., the successor company of Tangshan Shuguang Industrial Group Co., Ltd. established in 1984, is one of the country’s early private enterprises. The company’s main business field is cement production, but it also operates in trade logistics, trade, culture and tourism. The company was once ranked the Top 500 Private Enterprises in China. In 2009, the company underwent a successful restructuring and became the role model of the local manufacturing industry with its environmental-friendly and efficient “green factory”. “Qiang Xing” Cement, the company’s renowned product, also enjoys a reputation of high quality cement in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The company’s annual production tops 2 million tons. In 2012, the company acquired two product concrete manufacturers, bringing its annual production to 1.2 million cubic metres.
