Dear Mr./Ms.:
The First Session of the First Board of Directors of China-Africa Business Council will be held at Beijing Friendship Hotel from 27 to 28 December 2005. All of our members of board of directors from private sectors will attend the meeting. We'll invite officials from Chinese government, representatives form UN, NGOS and other African Embassies in China to attend and give lectures. There also will be a training workshop on introduction of investment in Africa after the meeting.
We would be grateful if you could attend the meeting.
China-Africa Business Council (CABC) is jointly founded by United Nations Development Programme, the China Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Program, and the Ministry of Commerce/China International Center for Economic & Technical Exchanges. It is a non-governmental organization. Non-state-owned businesses are the principal participants and beneficiaries of CABC. The aim of CABC is to actively guide Chinese non-state-owned businesses in their "going out" strategy, support them in partnering with African companies to discover and expand new markets and create an enabling environment for China-Africa economic and technical cooperation through a network of national and international partners to promote China-Africa cooperation and South-South cooperation.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the meeting. Please confirm your attendance with our secretary Mr. Tony Bai at 65179637 or bxf@cabc.org.cn before December 20, 2005.
Yours faithfully,
Li Zhang
