陈林现任中国真空学会理事、北京真空学会常务理事、中国真空科学与技术学报杂志社副社长、北京市昌平区青联委员。
中非新星公司本着“走向非洲、立足非洲、长远发展”的目标，已在加蓬拥有1000公顷土地进行商业地产开发，在刚果（布）从事石油勘探和农业项目开发。

中非新星母公司为川北投资公司，2002年创立，经过十几年发展，川北投资（北京）有限公司已成为涉足高新技术、电子商务、生态农业、海外投资等四大领域的现代化集团，下属企业主要有：川北真空科技（北京）有限公司、四川九天真空科技股份有限公司、北京真空电子商务超市、北京昌崔十号文化发展公司、香港建筑材料工程公司。 目前，川北投资在国内真空业务规模超过15亿元，高学历专业人才超过300人，占地面积16万平米，是北京市高新技术企业。

China-Africa Star Group Ltd. is a large multinational company established jointly by a number of Chinese entrepreneurs. Its purpose is property development in Chinese mainland and African countries , project contracting and other businesses. Chen Lin is the director of the Chinese Vacuum Society, the managing director of Beijing Association for Science and Technology, the vice president of Chinese Journal of Vacuum Society and Technology, and a member of the Changping youth Federation.

China-Africa Star Group Ltd. stick to “Towards Africa, Based in Africa, seeking long-term development”. It owned 1,000 hectares of land for commercial real estate development in Gabon and engaged in oil exploration and agricultural development projects in Congo (Brazzaville).

Chuanbei Vacuum Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. was invested by China-Africa Star Group Ltd. and was established in 2002. With the rapid sales growth and expansion constantly, CBVAC become one well-known manufacturer of vacuum products in domestic market. And CBVAC is a comprehensive high-tech enterprise specialized in vacuum product development, design, production, sales and service. Vacuum valves, vacuum pumps and vacuum flange connections are the three leading products. We have a long-term friendly cooperation with Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University and others, also we have a research team with high professional technicians. We have developed a new product, including dry scroll vacuum pump and large vacuum valve. The techniques and manufacture level can reach the international standards, and enjoy high favor from international and domestic clients. At present, our investment in the field of vacuum is over 1.5 billions RMB, and we have over 300 well-educated professionals and 160,000 square meters.
